YOU ARE BIGGER THAN CIRCUMSTANCES

God has placed inside each one of us the ability to walk above our daily circumstances and situations. He has given us the ability to continue to walk in His love and grace, no matter what we’re facing on a daily basis.

We can choose to let the attitudes of others influence the way we feel or act however, God has placed within us the ability to walk higher than those attitudes of other people. We can walk in the love and the grace of God and we can choose to be like Him and show the World that love overcomes evil. We have a choice, we can walk higher or we can walk below like the world’s attitude. We have to make the choice to walk in the love and grace of Jesus. We must show the world that no matter the problem, love covers a multitude of sins. Jesus has prepared the way for us to love one another, to forgive one another and to walk in the God kind of love that has been placed inside of each one of us.

Today, choose to walk above and not beneath. Choose to be an example to the world of the love of God. Let it flow from you no matter how you’re treated, no matter what has been said about you. Be greater than that and let the love of Jesus flow from you in every circumstance and situation and you will see God’s favor poured out upon your life. That’s just how God intended it to be.

JUST PRAY, DON’T CRITICIZE

In every area of our life it is so easy to speak critical things over people, government, jobs and all issues we encounter daily.

God never created us to be criticizers, but to be prayer warriors.

I Thessalonians’s 5:17 says, “Pray without ceasing “. There is certainly no shortage of things to pray about these days.

I try not to voice my opinion on politics or controversial subjects in my ministry because I know God has called me to pray and not criticize.

I Timothy 2:13. ” I exhort therefore that first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men. For kings and for all in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior.

I think it’s very plain that even though we disagree or not, we should pray for our leaders to be led by God for the common good and peace for our nation and our world.

If the true Christian believers would stop the criticalness and cover everyone and everything on prayer, what a different world we could live in.

Pray more, criticize less and watch God bless.

One Nation Under God – Are We?

Our country was founded on and for Christian principles to be free to all Americans.  Our constitution provided that for everyone living in this country.  Over the last few years those rights have slowly been taken from us.  Little by little they have been changed and reworked until they are no longer what our forefathers meant to happen.

We have turned our eyes away and settled for what the government wanted to dish out and it is now totally contrary to our constitution and the Bible, God’s word. So many people have turned their backs on God’s word when it comes to living by its  standards. Anything goes these days.  People don’t know who they are and some don’t care.  If it’s fun, then do it and there is no wrong in anything.

The Bible is very specific in the standard of living and the practices that God laid out for His children to live by.  Today, in America, very few are living by it.  Sure, a few days a year, people fly the flag in front of their house to say I am proud to be an American, but what about being a Christian and standing for Christian principles.

It’s time we begin to fill the church pews again and wear out the rugs by being on our knees in prayer.  It’s time we live by the words in God’s book and believe every word will come to pass.  It’s time we trust in God’s word above all else we see or hear.  It’s time we can once again say One Nation Under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Choose this day, who you will serve, God or the world.  God bless America and God bless you!!!

BECAUSE

Have you ever asked the question, “Why”? Then you received the answer, “because”?

The word cause, as a noun, means “the reason” or “the thing that brought about”. As a verb, it means “to make happen”.

Because means “by cause that” or “for the reason that”. Because is not usually an acceptable answer to questions we have in life, but many times it’s the only answer we get. We have all replied, “Because” when we didn’t have another answer.

Many times there is no reasonable answer to life’s problems, so we hear “Because”. That is the reason for when there is no other explanation other than “just because”. There is a reason for everything. There is a consequence to every action and “because” then makes sense. Because Jesus died, we live eternally forever.

Because He arose, we know we will go to Heaven.

Because God’s word says so, we know it’s true

We must accept things by faith. Many times we have to, by faith, be satisfied with “because” as our only answer.

Prayer and Purpose

It seems as if time has speeded up all around us. Nothing we once counted on is a sure thing anymore. The economy seems to be in great turmoil, people without jobs, medical insurance and losing their homes and life savings. What is happening? Americans have been lulled to sleep over a period of time. We have allowed ourselves to depend on salaries, jobs, living with the best, finest and most extravagant of everything. Where is God in all this mess? He’s been right here all the time, waiting for people to reach out to Him.

Bible prophecy is being fulfilled at such an accelerated rate that even Bible scholars find it next to impossible to keep up with the every day details. Every word in the prophecies, will come to pass just as God said they would. The times we are living in are the most exciting of all to be alive and the Lord can only be a few years or even months away.

More and more I hear Christians saying the Lord is dealing with them about their purpose and moving on in what He has called them to do. Some still say they aren’t sure what that purpose is and question the Lord as to why they don’t know. Purpose takes prayer. We have to develop a relationship with the Father and spend time with Him in order to know what He is calling to do on an everyday basis. He doesn’t always give us years down the road either. Sometimes, it’s only a day or two at a time. If we are obedient in that, He will give us more and more until His plan and purpose for us stretches further ahead. Proverbs 3: 5-6 tells us, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; and lean not unto your own. Understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.” We must lean on the Lord’s wisdom and if we’re waiting on something else to give us direction or purpose then is when we become frustrated. It’s only when you are being directed by the Lord that your life will become exciting. Your purpose is unique………..Ask Him……..Seek Him…..He is so waiting to tell you
