35. This is what the LORD says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who sits up the sea so that it’s waves roar – the LORD Almighty is his name:

Every time we look at the news there is such division in our world.  One side is downing the other, making terrible accusations and causing people to be in turmoil over what they are hearing.  Especially in politics, this is true.  If we spent as much time with the Lord every day as we spend watching the news or reading it, what a different world we would live in.

God’s Word is always truth.  We never have to judge if it is right or wrong.  Satan always seeks to divide.  That is the number one way to destroy families, churches, friends and of course the world we live in.  Division always brings strife.  Strife leads to bitterness and then hatred.

We need to spend more time abiding instead of dividing.  Abiding simply in plain terms means to act in accordance with or to accept without trying to change something.  If we would pray, read God’s Word, concerning decisions or ways of thinking, then we could rest in the fact that even though things around us are contrary, we would be content to abide in what God’s Word says about the subject.   And, most importantly, love those who are deceived and breed strife and discontent, because they know not the truth.  The Word of God is truth.  It never changes.  Get into it.  Read it and pray about it and then if you are thinking contrary, you need to change the way you think.  The only real truth in today’s world is the Word of God. Abide.

I am beginning a new website and bare with me as I try to get this set up and workable, but I know so many don’t have facebook and some of you never got the posts I have put on in the past.  As I use this site to reach everyone, I pray you will share with others and be blessed by what you see here.

God has been so good to us and we have traveled so much this year, I want to continue to share with everyone where we are going and let you see some of the pictures of the beautiful places we see.  God bless each of you and I look forward to sharing what the Lord puts on my heart.
